What is Food Justice?

Food justice would exist if everyone had sufficient food.
Food justice is the concept that society should arrange its relationships so everyone can have sufficient food.

As a response to the food injustice that pervades our world, IJMMac is participating in Fast for Change on October 16th, World Food Day. We will fast from food for 1 day, in solidarity with those who live with hunger. At the end of the day we will gather around a table, as if set for dinner, but without the food, and instead of eating we'll reflect on the day of fasting. Find out more at the webiste http://www.endhungerfast.com/

If you're interested in participating, e-mail us at ijmmcmaster@gmail.com and we will get you some resources that go along with the fast.
